This week saw the group's second session since lockdown relaxation and eight of us met in Victoria Square. It was a much better afternoon than last week's bitter weather and we set off in various directions planning to reconvene at Beaumont's cafe in town. We sat with our cuppa, on their lovely, sunny verandah chatting for almost as long as we were litter picking! As we left Beaumont's we saw Carl (the owner) walking across the road to retrieve the litter bin from alongside the benches around the Millenium Clock, a bin that he has funded, maintains and which he empties twice a day. Well done, Carl.
