Sunday 8th October, 9 am (ish). The weather forecast is good so another opportunity to attack the Derby Road Hill footpath.
Sue proposes we re-visit the bottom end which we did a year ago but since then the edge has slumped down and it's now the narrowest part of the pavement again.
High viz is essential; also please bring buckets, spades, study dustpans, rakes, brooms, gloves, secateurs, loppers etc. etc. Or just bring yourselves.
Sadly DDDC have said they will no longer support us with debris removal, so it's just down to us.
On a positive note, I see a lot more people using that side of the road to walk to and from the town, more than I ever did before we worked on it.
