Several individuals from the 'Proud of Ashbourne' group found themselves on Derby Hill yesterday and litter picked adjacent to the footpath. Amongst the brambles and trees and under the hedges it was pretty easy to keep a very social distance, sadly we did not have to walk far to once again fill our sacks with discarded food packaging and assorted other rubbish. 20 sacks of litter were collected, and more on our way home. Many thanks to all those concerned, especially for coming along but also for keeping your distance!
