Happy St Patrick's Day

prideinashbourne

The teams have been busy again and what glorious weather they have had!

I know lots of litter picking has been quietly going on in twos and threes and huge thanks to all of you getting out there before the vegetation gets out of hand and the litter gets hidden. We left 17 sacks for collection today, from Bradley Woods area and Shirley Hollow. I know another small group have been clearing round the fish pond, the adjacent field and the bottom of the rugby field, 8 full sacks and a hessian tent! More small outings are planned at the weekend. There is more litter out there and the warm weather has pushed the brambles into growth, so the race is on to get it cleared...

Thanks again to all the workers

Thanks for asking! At the present time, with the Covid restrictions as they are, we are not able to have our regular organised group litter picks. Some of our members are going out in small groups either within their social bubbles or as their daily exercise and litter picking as they go. As soon as restrictions are relaxed we will again organise the larger group outings, and I will post them here and on the website. We usually plan in the prior week, but sometimes at short notice as it depends on the weather forecast. Please continue to watch this space, hopefully we will get back to normal soon.
